Domestic:

  • Wired to Wear in the Museum of Science + Industry Chicago is the first exhibit dedicated to wearable technology. They feature smart clothing designed to extend the human body making use healthier, stronger, and safer.
  • The Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, hosts the Prosthetic Arm with Springs from the 1930s. Their archives are dedicated to the history of diagnosis and treatment and feature various prosthetic historical donations in its archives.
  • The US Army Medical Department Museum in Washington DC is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and exhibiting historically important medical developments from war. They host the Carnes artificial arm exhibit from 1915 which was a prosthetic that controlled the movement of wrist and fingers developed from war.
  • Everybody: An Artifact History of Disability in America in Washington DC is part of the National Museum of American History Behring Center. The exhibition serves as an introduction to the history of disability in America, and covers various aspects like the politics, technology, surrounding factors and more to its development.
  • Abilities Expo is featured annually in eight North American cities. The three day all-access passports provide access to the latest products, cutting-edge tech, informative workshops and adaptive activities.

Foreign:

  • Everybody: An Artifact History of Disability in America in Washington DC is part of the National Museum of American History Behring Center. The exhibition serves as an introduction to the history of disability in America, and covers various aspects like the politics, technology, surrounding factors and more to its development.
  • The Berlin Museum of Medical History in Charite, Germany, features preserved organs, antique prosthetic limbs, and X-rays from 300 years of medical history. They are closed until early 2023.
  • The Home Care & Rehabilitation exhibition in Tokyo features a variety of different exhibitions. Exhibit functions on an application based system that allows exhibitors to show off their developed products in a collective manner.
  • CareTEX is a professional exhibit specializing in nursing care supplies, facilities, and services. Many visitors with purchasing responsibilities of influence including presidents and executive officers of nursing care facilities, purchasing department manager, nursing care distributors and home care operators visit.

Barrier Free, Nursing Next, Post-Acute Medicine, Home Medical Fair takes place in Osaka, Japan. The expo features the four facets of the name in different themed expos to learn more for industry leading vendors on the respective topics.
